Round Rock Police report that two arrests have been made in connection with the homicide of 26-year-old Christopher Branham, a Round Rock man who went missing on June 24th. Anthony Davis and Kyle Cleveland are currently booked in the Travis County Jail. The Texas Rangers and U.S. Marshals Service assisted Round Rock Police in this investigation.
On Friday, July 31st RRPD reported that a body had been found near the 14000-block of FM 1100 in Manor, Travis County and that it could be that of a missing person from Round Rock. Branham’s family issued a statement that they believed the body that was recovered was their son Christopher. An autopsy performed on the body on Saturday, August 1st by the Travis County Medical Examiner confirmed that the body was that of Christopher Branham.
Branham was last was the subject of a RRPD missing persons investigation. He was last seen in the parking lot of a Round Rock hotel on June 24. There was a reported sighting in Manor but police were not able to confirm the sighting. His family and the Round Rock Police are asking the public for any information regarding Christopher’s death.
Round Rock police thanked the Texas Rangers and U.S. Marshals Service for their assistance with the case and say that more details will be available in the coming days.
