Lee Duane DeYoung, a 63-year-old man from Taylor, was being held Tuesday in the Williamson County Jail with bail set at $85,000 for robbery and the unauthorized use of a vehicle.
In an affidavit, the Taylor man is charged with a second-degree felony for the robbery of the First Convenience Bank inside a Walmart Supercenter at 4700 E. Palm Valley Boulevard in Round Rock on May 6th.
Round Rock police stopped DeYoung, as he drove a blue Honda CB750 motorcycle last Thursday, for an expired registration. The motorcycle, which he was riding, had a strip of blue tape on its license plate which several witness noted in their description of the vehicle leaving the Walmart Supercenter on May 6th.
When the Police stopped DeYoung Police found a robbery demand note in DeYoung’s pocket and then discovered a second robbery demand note in DeYoung’s wallet. The motorcycle, was stolen from Round Rock.
