Cedar Park Police recover hundreds of stolen items

The Cedar Park Police Department has recovered hundreds of stolen items from a remote trailer property.

On Tuesday, June 30th, a victim of a local burglary informed Cedar Park Police he found his stolen tools on LetGo – an app that allows users to buy and sell with others. Cedar Park’s Organized Crime Unit set up a sting to buy-back the items and were able to confirm it was the stolen tools.

Through Cedar Park Police’s intel, it became clear the suspects involved were the same couple they have been tracking for the past month related to several other burglary investigations in the area.

“On the night of June 30, members of the Criminal Investigations Division, Organized Crime Unit and Central Texas Regional SWAT executed a search warrant at 14711 Quail Court-Unit B – a rural part of Travis County. While there, our team found tens of thousands of dollars worth of stolen items being stored including electronics, jewelry, clothing, antiques, bikes, tools and much more.”

Addison Mullins (DOB: 05/04/1993) is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and two counts of Burglary of a Building.

Richard Orr (DOB: 12/14/1986) is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Burglary of a Building.

The two were taken to Travis County jail and further charges are pending.

Cedar Park’s police investigation thus far shows the pair mainly targeted apartment complex storage units.

“We are working with other law enforcement agencies across the state due to the amount of items recovered and believe there are items that could solve some cases dating as far back as 2015”, Cedar Park Police.

Anyone with information or questions regarding the recovered property can call Detective Anthony Bridgewater at (512) 260-4886.
